The following terms are used throughout this document:
By registering an account on GUMP Hosting or using any part of the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 16 years old to register an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep that information up to date. Each person may hold one operator account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your credentials. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].
Each operator account is associated with a single GUMP instance. If your group requires multiple instances, contact us to discuss arrangements.
GUMP Hosting provides a managed, hosted deployment of the GUMP unit management platform. This includes:
gump-hosting.comGUMP provides the technology platform only. We do not monitor, review, endorse, or take responsibility for any content created, uploaded, or shared within any instance.
GUMP Hosting offers a free tier and several paid subscription plans. Plan details, including member caps and features, are described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust plan pricing and features with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually depending on the option chosen at sign-up. Billing begins on the date your paid subscription starts.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. GUMP Hosting does not store your card or payment details. PayPal is available as a payment method within the Stripe checkout where supported by your region. Licence verification is tied to the unit, not the individual — if the account holder changes, it is the operator's responsibility to contact us with the updated details.
Prices are shown excluding tax. Tax obligations may apply depending on your location and will be calculated at the point of purchase where applicable.
The Founders Edition is a one-time payment for permanent lifetime access. It is non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Availability is strictly limited.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you. Continued failure to pay may result in your instance being downgraded to the free tier.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your instance will remain active until then and will then revert to the free tier. Your data is not automatically deleted.
You can export your instance data (as JSON or CSV) at any time using the built-in export tools in your admin panel. We strongly encourage you to export your data before requesting deletion.
You may request full deletion of your account and instance data by contacting us at [email protected]. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an instance with immediate effect if we become aware of a material violation of these terms, particularly involving illegal activity. We will make reasonable effort to notify you unless doing so is prevented by legal obligation or security considerations. Where termination is not due to your breach, we will provide a proportionate refund for any prepaid period.
Each instance operates as an independent environment with an isolated database and storage. GUMP does not share data between instances unless explicitly configured by the operator.
Operators are solely responsible for:
GUMP staff will only access an instance when: (a) the operator has explicitly requested support, (b) applicable law requires it, or (c) a critical security vulnerability requires immediate action. A support account exists for operator-authorised assistance only.
Instances include a "Powered by GUMP" attribution. This attribution must not be removed or obscured.
The platform is designed for community and organisational management within gaming and simulation communities. The following uses are prohibited:
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe these rules are being violated.
All data within an instance belongs to the instance operator and their end users. GUMP does not claim ownership of any content.
We access instance data only in the circumstances described in section 7. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the service.
GUMP provides automated daily backups as a platform feature. These backups are stored within the instance environment. GUMP is not responsible for data loss resulting from operator actions within their instance.
Our full Privacy Policy explains in detail what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable data protection law, including GDPR.
The GUMP platform, including its source code, design, and architecture, is proprietary. No part of the platform may be copied, reverse-engineered, redistributed, or used to create derivative works without our explicit written permission.
The GUMP name, logo, and associated branding are the property of GUMP Hosting. You may not use them in any way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our written consent.
Operators and end users retain full ownership of the content they create and upload. By using the platform, you grant GUMP Hosting only the technical permissions necessary to host, store, and serve that content as part of the service.
GUMP Hosting aims to maintain high availability for all hosted instances. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible, typically via our Discord server.
We may update the platform software to improve functionality, fix bugs, or address security issues. Updates are applied across all instances. We will make reasonable effort to communicate significant changes in advance.
Certain features may be adjusted or restricted by service tier. The current feature set for each plan is described on the pricing page and may change with notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GUMP Hosting and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to instance operators via email or a notice on the platform before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.
Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you may cancel your account before the changes take effect.
